Badia Demining provide a full range of specialised canine services to host government and the security, oil and gas and industrial commercial construction industry in Syria. Our highly trained canine teams have extensive detection experience in a wide variety of environments and countries including the protection of airports, NATO bases, embassies, dignitaries, as well as strategic national assets and other targetedlocations. Our canine teams have provided frontline security support for more than 10 years in Afghanistan, and supported client operations in other high threat and environments around the world. The BADIA DEMINING team work with their clients as part of an integrated team to provide cost-effective industry-leading canine solutionsfor explosives, firearms, ammunition and narcotics search and detection for passenger vehicles, cargo transport, buildings, aircraft and public access areas. For example we are currently integrated within security operations at several embassies in Kabul to support the protection of entry control points (ECP).
CANINE TRAINING
The quality of selection and training of both dogs and handlers can make the difference between an embassy being protected from or being the victim of a multi-casualty explosive device. BADIA DEMINING not only ensures the highest calibre of canines are selected, they employ the highest qualified trainers (certified by the National Association of Service Dog Users (NASDU)) to train and certify our handlers and the dogs they work with. Another critical component is the dog’s daily training carried out by the handlers aswell continuous review, supervision and refresher training by the project Canine Detection Manager. Furthermore, annual re-certification is conducted by our NASDU trainers.
