BADIA DEMINING is a Syrian-registered company specialising in commercial Mine Action. Our mission is to save lives, enable development, and create safe environments for communities and infrastructure development operations.

BADIA DEMINING employs IMAS-qualified national deminers alongside, international IMAS-qualified Arabic-speaking specialists and managers with more than 25 years of experience in Afghanistan, Jordan, Iraq, Mozambique, Angola, Eritrea, Kosovo, Burkina Faso and Vietnam aswell as formers senior managers from UNMAS.

Quality Management (QM)

BADIA DEMINING will provide safe, efficient clearance services across Syria, compliant with International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and Syrian Mine Action Standards (SMAS) once crystalised.

BADIA DEMINING operations will be monitored by UNMAS Syria and/or the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management’s National Mine Action Centre (NMAC) Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) teams. We prioritize safety, conduct regular refresher training, and use certified demining tools, and PPE. Our internal QA/QC processes ensure that every cleared site meets the highest international standards.

The quality of our demining services is the main consideration for BADIA DEMINING. We are committed to continually improve our performance, clearly understand our clients’ requirements and deliver the land certified as safe for use, back to the client as per contractual requirements and in accordance with IMAS and our internal SOPs. The safety of our staff and visitors to our sites is our primary objective. We provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to our staff and visitors and implement strict supervision to make ensure the safety of individuals and quality of operations.
